Julie Scher Nebel

Julie Scher Nebel, MSW, LCSW, is a relational therapist working with individuals, couples, and those who embrace alternative or non-traditional relationships. She recognizes that when a client makes the decision to seek support from psychotherapy, it is a sign of inner strength and hope. She nurtures the possibility of deeper understanding and self-knowledge by creatively engaging the whole person using psychodynamic therapy, Internal Family Systems, mindfulness practices, and the wisdom of the body. Julie values the process of questioning life-long assumptions around love, relationship, sex, marriage and how we know ourselves, and she acknowledges the courage it takes to risk deep, conscious connection with the Self and with others. Specializing in the areas of life transitions, grief and loss, peri- and post-partum concerns, parenting, sexuality, and depression and anxiety, Julie provides a safe space for clients to find greater self-awareness, empowerment, compassion, and health.
