Kristy Arditti
Kristy Arditti, AM, LCSW, CDVP, is an integrative, relational therapist who works with women, children, adolescents and families around the complex effects of trauma. Kristy specializes in the area of childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, divorce, grief and loss.
With compassion and respect, Kristy helps her adult clients identify and work through the impacts of abuse and trauma to regain their voice, utilize their strengths, and build healthy relationships. In doing so, clients are able to see new opportunities for authenticity, growth and healing.
When working with children and adolescents, Kristy uses directive and non-directive therapeutic approaches. She creates a safe environment where her young clients are able to put words to their experiences, learn positive coping skills, and regain a sense of safety and competence in their world. Kristy believes in close collaboration with parents and caregivers in order to help them understand normal child development, children's reactions to trauma and loss, and how to respond to their children effectively.
Kristy's delight in her clients' courage and resilience sustains her passion and deep commitment to her work with the children, families and individuals.
